What if I don’t know what I need?

Aromatherapy Products

What are your candles made of?
Zen Aromas soy candles are made with all-natural soy wax, braided eco-friendly cotton wicks, and essential/fragrance oils. Just wax, wick, and scent with no other additives or dyes.
Where are your products made?
All of our products are handcrafted and hand-packaged in our home workshop in Maryland.
Do you have a store I can visit in-person?
At this time, we do not have a stand-alone store of our own.
How long do your candles last?
As long as you keep the wick trimmed and only burn them for 4 hours at a time, our candles last approximately 60-72 hours, depending on the size of the vessel.
Should I burn a particular scented candle in a particular room/space?
Each of our candles has its own individual character. Although some scents may be stronger than others, you should move your candle around the house in different rooms, in order to determine which candle smells best in each room.
Why should I trim the wick and only burn your candles for 4 hours at a time?
-
These are common instructions and good practices for any candle and are meant to prolong a candle’s burn time. A longer wick creates a larger flame and a larger flame melts the wax faster. So, the longer your candle burns, the larger the flame gets, causing your candle to melt faster.
-
Keeping the wick trimmed and burning 4 hours at a time slows everything down so you get a longer burn time.
-
Additionally, burning your candle for 4 hours at a time ensures that the wax melts all the way to the edge of the jar. The melted wax (not the flame) is what gives off your candle’s scent, so this will maximize your candle’s scent when lit.
How quickly will my order ship?
-
We make every effort to ship your orders as quickly as possible.
-
Shipping days are typically on Mondays and Thursdays for items placed no later than 3pm EST.
-
Holiday shipping is usually same day or next day. Currently, all orders are shipped from southern Maryland via USPS Priority Mail.
-
You will receive a tracking number for your order when it is fulfilled. By default, our packages do not require a signature. All orders over $100 come with free shipping.
What makes an all-natural soy wax candle different?
-
While paraffin wax is refined from crude oil, soy wax is made from soybeans, a completely renewable resource grown here in the US. Compared to paraffin, soy wax burns cleaner with no petrol-carbon soot. Soy wax also burns slower than paraffin, so soy wax candles also last longer.
Can I buy your products wholesale to sell them in my store?

What ages is Zen Warrior Creative Club for?
This program is designed for children ages 6–12. Groups are intentionally kept small, and activities are adapted to meet a range of developmental needs within this age range.

Does my child need prior yoga experience?
Not at all. No previous yoga or mindfulness experience is required. All movements and activities are taught in an accessible, playful, and choice-based way.
Is this a therapy or counseling program?
Zen Warrior Creative Club is not therapy. It is a trauma-informed, therapeutic-style enrichment program that supports emotional regulation, confidence, and self-awareness through yoga, mindfulness, play, and creative expression.
While many of the practices are supportive of emotional well-being, this program does not replace mental health treatment.

Is this program supportive of neurodivergent children?
Yes. This program is intentionally designed to be neurodiversity-affirming and inclusive. Activities are flexible, sensory-aware, and choice-based. Children are never forced to participate and are encouraged to engage in ways that feel safe and comfortable for them.
If you’d like to share specific needs or accommodations ahead of time, you’re welcome to do so during registration.
What does a typical session look like?
Each 60 to70- minute session includes:
-
A grounding arrival and check-in
-
Trauma-informed yoga and movement
-
Mindfulness and nervous system education
-
Play-based games and/or creative activities
-
A closing circle with reflection and affirmations
Sessions follow a predictable structure to support safety, trust, and regulation.
What should my child wear or bring?
Children should wear comfortable clothing they can move in. Yoga mats and materials are provided. Water bottles are encouraged.
What if my child needs a break during class?
Breaks are always allowed. Children are encouraged to listen to their bodies and take space when needed. Observation, rest, or quiet engagement is always respected.
How many children are in each group?
Groups are kept small, typically 6–12 children, to ensure individualized attention and a supportive environment.
Is parent participation required?
Parents do not participate in the sessions themselves. However, you may be asked to complete a brief intake form before the program begins to help ensure your child is supported appropriately.
What if we miss a session?
Because this is a closed-group program, missed sessions cannot be made up. However, your child is welcome to return the following week, and brief session summaries may be provided when appropriate.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Due to limited group sizes and advance preparation, refunds are not available once the program begins. If cancellation occurs prior to the start date, credit may be applied to a future program at the discretion of Zen Aromas and Wellness.
How do I know this program is right for my child?
Zen Warrior Creative Club is a great fit for children who benefit from gentle structure, movement, creativity, and emotional support. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out with questions before enrolling.

Is your podcast beginner-friendly? I’ve never practiced yoga before.
Yes! The practices and discussions are always inclusive and invitational. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to explore.
How is this podcast different from other yoga podcasts out there?
We focus specifically on trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming practices. That means no pressure to perform, no pushing through pain, and no one-size-fits-all approach. We honor choice, consent, and body autonomy in every episode.
Are there guided practices on the podcast, or is it all educational?
Both! Some episodes are focused on nervous system science and self-awareness, while others offer guided breathwork, gentle yoga flows, or mindfulness practices you can do right from your bed, couch, or chair.
How can I suggest a topic or question for the podcast?
You can DM me on Instagram @zenaromas.wellness or use the contact form on my website.
